But on Saturday Jessie J clearly felt like going back to her roots as she slipped on a long curly wig as she jetted to LA.

The 25-year-old arrived across the pond without a hair out of place, showing off not just her new look but also her slim legs in a pair of very tight leather-look trousers.

Making sure she didn’t go unnoticed she wore a dash of bright red lipstick which stood out against her pale skin and raven locks.

On her way to the airport Jessie couldn’t resist sharing some snaps of herself and her new hair do, which was a drastic change from her spiky blonde bob.

Although the Do It Like A Dude singer seemed to be sad to leave her home city, as she tweeted on Saturday: 'Bye bye London. I will miss you.'

As soon as the songstress arrived the in LA she seemed to have forgotten about the rainy English weather, posting pictures of herself smiling into the sunshine with a black wide rimmed hat pulled down over one of her eyes.
